


Leigh Blackmore, President of the Australian Horror Writers Association http://www.australianhorror.com/, was interviewed during October for an episode, focussing on horror, of the 'Final Draft' program on Sydney's radio 2SER.
Also interviewed was Kyla Ward. Kyla, apart from being one of the authors of horror novel PRISMATIC, is a longtime horror devotee, writer, poet, filmmaker and artist. She is a member of the horror repertory company Theatre of Blood http://www.thetheatreofblood.com/ Her www.tabula-rasa.info site (with David Carroll) is a goldmine of info on Australian horror writers, comics and films. Kyla put together the recent Nightmare Ball at Aussiecon 4, the World Science Fiction Convention. The interview features a reading by Kyla from her story "Erina Hearn and the Gods of Death" from the brand spanking new doorstop-sized anthology of Australian horror MACABRE, edited by Dr Marty Young and Angela Challis.
