"This reporter is donating more books to his local library, plus additional VCR movie tapes for an in-house video program at a Brooklyn library S.T. Joshi's blog praised the forthcoming book-length collection of Fred's poetry, FROM THE CAULDRON, due for release this November. On Thursday, May 27, Fred and Dee Phillips will pay a visit to Leigh Blackmore and other Australian Kalems with two previously-inscribed Hippocampus Press titles as visitors' gifts--some Shikarring may be in the offing. On Jan.6 in Phoenix, Arizona, Fred is scheduled for a panel on weird poetry at MythosCon,moderated by your OE and mine, S.T. Joshi.On May 22 Derrick Hussey, publisher of Hippocampus Press, will attend another kaffeeklatsch with Fred and his 'Occult tutor', the totally feckless Ken Dupuy, Adjunct Instructor in Philosophy at Fordham University for the purpose of drafting an outline for the Table of Contents of a book about 'book-lore' Dupuy has invited Fred to co-author with him. At the Jan.6 MythosCon Fred and Martin Andersson, Arch-Provost of Sverige in and for the Ancient and Honourable Order of the Drowned Rat, will install Professor Donald J. Burleson and Mollie Burleson (former OE of the Esoteric Order of Dagon) as Co-Provosts of Roswell, New Mexico in and for the Honourable Order. Ann K. Schwader and Kenneth W. Faig, Jr. will likewise be installed as Provosts for Westminster, Colorado and Glenwood, Illinois respective. In early June Leigh Blackmore, Official Editor of the Sword and Sorcery Weird Fiction Amateur Press Association, will be elevated to the dignity of Arch-Provost for New South Wales.No '30'."
